PowerPlex^® – the ultimate automation solution for boats

HH Catamarans was formed in 2012. Since then, "HH" has come to represent quality and success in every boat built. The HH44 is the latest addition to the HH model series and the smallest HH model so far. The model offers an incredibly rigid, lightweight hull that provides sailors with a fast, safe and reliable platform - for whatever purpose. State-of-the-art rigging and equipment combined with luxurious interiors create the ultimate performance cruising package.

In search of high-quality electrical components, HH Catamarans approached us. Working closely with colleagues from E-T-A China, a unique circuit diagram was created for the HH44 catamaran. This includes the entire on-board electrical structure, circuit protection, communication and visualisation of the electrical loads.

The result is an on-board electrical system consisting of a combination of our circuit breakers and components from the PowerPlex^® portfolio. With a single touch, the lights and air conditioning can be switched on or off and scenarios can be controlled. Touch displays show boat information like levels of water tanks or the condition of the battery.

In addition, the system reacts automatically to deﬁned system conditions and informs the user as soon as an action is required. Various operating elements such as smartphones, tablets and keypads make controlling and monitoring the entire on-board system simple and intuitive.

All this contributes to maximum availability of the boats and transparency of the on-board electrical system.
